On the evening of Monday 20th February, Vivienne Westwood’s Climate Revolution celebrated London Fashion Week with an activist event at Fabric in aid of Climate Change called SWITCH!
‘There is one truly political act you can make as an individual or a group – SWITCH to GREEN ENERGY. Stop the demand for burning fossil fuels and further fracking and make choices that stop climate change.’ Is the message that activist and designer Vivienne Westwood gave to an audience of 900 people at the iconic London nightspot, Fabric.
Guests celebrated a night of culture and conscious environmental activism; speakers on the night included Vivienne Westwood, and green energy supplier, Ecotricity’s founder, Dale Vince.
To get the party started there was an exclusive DJ set by ‘A Guy Called Gerald’ and other special guest DJ’s Jay King and Josh Ludlow.
The event follows the successful Climate Revolution student night held last September at The Box nightclub, London, and is a continuation of the activist’s ongoing movement opposing the current political, economic and social dogma.
Guests included: Vivienne Westwood, Pamela Anderson, Gwendoline Christie, Charli XCX, Ellie Goulding, Dougie Pointer, Jaime Winstone, Alice Dellal, Clara Paget, Batty Bachz, Billie JD Porter, Doina Coibanu, Jo Wood, Joe Corre and Cora Corre.
The Bulb would like to thanks Vivienne Westwood and the Climate Revolution team, Fabric, Project 0, Ecotricity, Fever Tree and Sauvelle Vodka for their generous support in making this event possible.
