VIVIENNE WESTWOOD SAYS SWITCH AT FABRIC
MAKE A POLITICAL STAND AND SWITCH TO GREEN ENERGY
A NIGHT OF CULTURE AND ACTIVISM TO HIGHLIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE AND PROMOTE GREEN ENERGY.
‘There is one truly political act you can make as an individual or a group - SWITCH to GREEN ENERGY. Stop the demand for burning fossil fuels and further fracking and make choices that stop climate change.’is the message that activist and designer Vivienne Westwood gave to an audience of 900 people at the iconic London nightspot, Fabric.
As well as a fantastic talk from Dame Vivienne on the importance of switching to green energy, to get the party started there were exclusive DJ sets from ‘A Guy Called Gerald’ and other special guest DJ’s Jay King and Josh Ludlow.
To ensure that the event was an environmentally friendly as the messages being given, all plastic glasses, stirrers and straws were removed from the venue and replaced with recycled branded cups. We branded the venue with recycled press boards and projected activist messaging using GIFs throughout. Guests included: Vivienne Westwood, Pamela Anderson, Gwendoline Christie, Charli XCX, Ellie Goulding, Dougie Pointer, Jaime Winstone, Alice Dellal, Clara Paget, Batty Bachz, Billie JD Porter, Doina Coibanu, Jo Wood, Joe Corre and Cora Corre.
